How to Profit from Horse Racing Trainers and Jockeys

How would you like to know which horse racing trainers and jockeys consistently turn in the profits?

How to profit from trainers and jockeys that show long term losses?

How to devise an easy to follow horse racing system to bring in these profits?

Well I have been using such a list for over a decade now and have had many winning odds over 100/1 on Betfair, and many many double priced odds.

Now some of you may say that some of the information I use is freely available, and you would be correct. However I will supply it to you in an Excel file you can easily manipulate to list the data in any order you wish, you don’t have to collate the data trainer by trainer, jockey by jockey, it is all done for you. Hundreds of jockeys and trainers profit/loss stats at your fingertips.

Do not worry if you do not have a copy of Excel, you can view the file with the free Open Office, or Microsoft Excel Viewer. The stats are listed in simple to follow columns with profits and losses clearly coloured red or blue. Whether a trainer/jockey should be laid or backed is also marked.

The data includes profit/loss figures for only the trainers and jockeys that are worth following, I have filtered out all the 100’s of lines of worthless data, so if you notice a well known trainer is missing, this is not an error, it is just that he is not worth following win or lay.

You get average odds, average winning odds, highest odds, win and lay ROI (return on investment percentage), longest winning and losing runs, SP, strike rate, longest losing runs and much more. Most of those stats you cannot get for free.

You can use a betting bank as low as £20!! All is explained in the instructions.

All data is from the last 3 years (Excl Dec 2012), this is the cut-off I use so that the stats show true trends but are also not influenced by older form.

Flat, AW and NH jockeys and trainers are included so you can use the information all year round.

You get SIX lists in one file:

Trainer Favourites  - This is a list of all the favourites than ran for each trainer for 2010-12 (Excl Dec 2012).
Trainer All Odds – This list contains every runner the trainer has had.
Trainer 10 Cut Off – This is the same as the above list but has a Betfair odds cut-off of 10.
Jockey Favourite – This is a list of all the favourites than ran for each jockey.
Jockey All Odds – This list contains every runner the jockey has had.
Jockey 10 Cut Off – This is the same as the above list but has a Betfair odds cut-off of 10.

The 10 odds cut-off lists are to clearly show the trainers or jockeys worth laying, otherwise you get a lot of odds in double and triple figures and you do not want to be laying those. This makes it clear to you which trainers and jockeys are worth laying for long term profits.

You also get full details on how to best use the data, how to set up a simple horse racing systems using the data, which staking plan to use, and much more.

As the data is in spreadsheet format it is easy to manipulate changing the order of any column so you can list them in say Highest Win Odds order. If you have never used a spreadsheet, don’t worry, it is easy to use and you can ask any questions on my forum.

Take a look at some of these past results:

Win Stats for Jockey 10 Cut-Off

Lay Stats for Jockey 10 Cut-Off

*All results over 3 years, added up comes to 1,000 of points profit.

Trainer X has a SR of 17%, a profit of £494 on Betfair (to £1 stakes), with 5% commission deducted, and included a single winner at 250/1 (BF Odds). Even at SP the trainer made OVER 100pts profit.

Trainer J looks good for laying all the horses at 10 or under on Betfair. A SR of 8% shows a profit of £53, again with commission deductions included (as do all the stats).

Just by backing ALL the horses that Jockey C has ridden shows a SR of 34%, with £28 profit.

Jockey T has only a 10% SR, but he obviously rides fancied horses at odds of 10 or under as you would have made around £67 profit by laying them all.

Jockey O has managed a whopping 25% SR over the 3 years, and with a cut-off of 10 has shown a profit of £112 backing all of his qualifying rides.

Did you know that by backing one of the country’s top trainers with a cut-off of 10 you would have had a SR of 21%, and £86 profit?

OVER 500 profit/loss stats for trainers and jockeys.

What this list will not do is make you instantly rich. However, follow the supplied staking, systems and betting advice, you should turn a nice profit over3 months including some really big priced winner including some OVER 50/1 on Betfair.

So how much is all this data that could potentially make you £1000’s for relatively small stake going to cost you?

Well as I am here to help the punter get the better of the bookmakers and betting exchanges I am letting you have this for ONLY £10. I must be stupid giving this kind of data away for that price, but it is more of a ‘donation’ just to cover basic costs.
